The Moon Club is an exclusive women’s leadership and culture club created to inspire, engage and empower high-achieving women with different cultural background across the Midwest.
We bring together transplants, expats, and local leaders to share ideas, foster mentorship, and create meaningful connections.
Through intimate gatherings with deep conversations, leadership education, cultural workshops, and roundtable discussions, The Moon Club provides an elegant and inspiring space for women with cultural background to grow personally and professionally while shaping the cultural and business landscape of their community.
About
My name is Alexa Young
Chen, M.B.A., Ph.D., facilitates meaningful change by combining over a decade of practical business experience with deep theoretical expertise to inspire leaders toward new ways of thinking and leading.
A former Deloitte consultant, she later became the co-founder of a women’s entrepreneurs’ community dedicated to inspiring and empower women founders. After, she work for a AI company, and went to live in Dubai to work with the government as only business women in the program. She wants to make change, so she spent 4 years on the research of female leadership, and got a Ph.D. for Global Leadership & Change from Pepperdine University.
Beyond her academic studies, she serves as a leadership coach for many Silicon Valley founders, utilizing her research-based framework to achieve better leadership performance. Chen is deeply committed to inspiring and empowering the next generation of leaders. Her mission is to bridge generations, fostering wisdom and knowledge transfer so that emerging leaders can learn from those who came before them — and lead with even greater clarity and purpose.In her personal life, she enjoys classical music and opera, playing violin and piano, ballet and swimming. Beside that, you may find her in her pottery studio, or studying fengshui, Taichi, and traditional chinese medicine.
